Within the organisation we also commit a significant level of investment into the retail and commercial sectors to ensure we purchase good quality property in the best locations that complement and enhance our current portfolio.
We then commit resource to the management of our freehold interest over the period we are in ownership of the property to ensure we protect our investment. However, we always strive to 'add value' where there is an opportunity in terms of re-development, refurbishment or change of use.
We consider ourselves a long term player with the purchase of freehold property in that we are looking at the capital returns over the life of our ownership and not just simply the initial yield received.
